Our project required scaffolding to paint 20ft ceilings, work around an open balcony/stone fireplace/large windows, and patching drywall cracks throughout all three floors of our great room space. It was no small feat! Yet, Tobey patiently and professionally worked his way through each step of the project, going above and beyond to make it perfect by cleaning the fan, dusting the windowsills, and checking in to ensure we were happy with his work along the way. This was the second time that we hired Tobey to paint for us. Both times we were very happy with the job that he did! He is very meticulous with his painting and was there doing the work when he said he would be there. We would definitely have Tobey paint for us again.

It's been four months since Toby painted our interior and he did an awesome job for us. From the first time we met him we knew instantly we had the right contractor. His experience with retexturing small holes to match existing wall textures as well as special prep applications for a water stain was invaluable. Tobey did an excellent job and we would definitely hire him again for any of our future painting needs. From day 1 Tobey was incredibly responsive to all communication with him and very professional and timely throughout the entire project. He was very flexible with our scheduling needs since we also had flooring professionals replacing much of our flooring on the main level of our house at the same time that he was scheduled to paint, and he was able to work around them quite well. He was also able to patch all of the nail & screw holes that were in the walls from the previous homeowner's decorating with his own custom, homemade patching material (we have textured walls and the store-bought patching material doesn't quite match the actual texture of the walls). Tobey is someone who really concentrates on quality and doesn't rush through a project just to get it done. Excellent-Tobey can be trusted and I could still work while he painted. I had a strip border in the dining area and stenciling in the kitchen border that he got removed. Have cathedral ceilings that he painted. Would definitely rehire in the future.

Tobey is wonderful to work with. I'd hired him in 2015 to paint a bedroom and was waiting for the right opportunity to work with him again. Tobey kept in touch before the painting started and came fully equipped with all the tools he needed. He's meticulous with things like drop cloths and had no troubles working around two very curious cats who just wanted to help paint. The bathroom looks like new, and not a speck of paint to be found anywhere else in the house - despite the cats' best intentions. Will be hiring Tobey again in the future!

The walls in this area of our basement showed a lot of wear and tear from water damage, old shelving that we removed, and then from a big sump pump / drain installation that we had done. We are so pleased with the beautiful job that Tobey did on our basement walls! He is very knowledgeable of the best methods and products for getting the job done the right way, and is very meticulous and precise in his work. He is a great guy to talk to and to work with. I will hire him again, and would recommend him without reservation to anyone in the area looking for an interior painter!

Tobey is awesome!! I got in on a deal through Angie's list to have one room painted. I chose to have my bedroom painted from a very dark green color to a more neutral grey. Tobey was very responsive about contacting me and when I had an error on my part trying to get in touch, he was very understanding and got back to me right away. I had the work completed within a week of purchasing the offer through Angie's list. He was very communicative about the amount of paint that would be needed and the coverage. He brought in everything and took great care with my belongings as well as keeping the pets out of the paint. He even had to remove the door from the room to get access to the walls but he did it easily! He was really understanding about my not knowing how to take the curtains down before he came and did that for me too. The room was gorgeous by the end of the day and looks awesome now. Toby was on time, informative, about what he would do and what I would do. All I had to do was pick out the paint. Toby protected everything, my concern was the hardwood floor. He totally protected the floor and furniture. My color scheme included 5 different colors. Two coats of paint on all the walls, as well as the crown molding. Toby gave us a new home for the Holidays. Tobey was able to paint my master bathroom following a renovation on short notice after a previous painter I had lined up wasn't able to do it. He is very friendly, responsive, and professional and does quality work. A couple years later I contacted him to help me fix up a bad spackle job I had done myself. He came out the next day, fixed up the area and repainted it, and made it look good again. He didn't even charge me anything for this small repair.

He came on time for the appointment to give me an estimate. He took his shoes off to walk around inside our house. He gave me the estimate right then on the spot and we set up a date to do the work. He came on time on the day he was to do the work. He set up his equipment, being careful with our house. He prepared the surfaces and then painted the upstairs ceiling, hallways and stairway. The job was perfect, efficient and all cleaned up when he was done. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

He came to our new house before we even bought it to look over the areas we wanted to paint and gave his honest opinion about the colors we thought we would like to use. Tobey did a fantastic job! Very professional and very organized. He was very careful in preparing each room prior to painting. He taped off everything that needed to be and there was absolutely no bleed through of paint onto anything that shouldn't have paint on it. Many times he free-handed, especially around windows and at the ceiling, making very clean lines. He is a very talented painter! His personality is such that you can chat with him along the way or go about your own business and not feel like you have a complete stranger in the house. There were times when I could not be here while he was painting and I was able to trust him completely. I even asked him to let our dog outside once and he happily obliged. He's just a nice man. I would most definitely recommend Andropolis Painting!
